TRAVELGRAD IS FORMED OF ADVENTUROUS PEOPLE JUST LIKE YOU.
In fact, our roots stretch back to a spontaneous post-uni trip to China by our founder, Andrew in 2013. He wasn’t ready to jump straight into a grad job, either, so he took a chance on a teaching job in Changsha. It was the single best year of his life! It opened his eyes to the world, and the opportunities that are out there, available to us all.
While abroad however, he discovered a lot of shady stuff going on — agencies skimming a cut off teachers’ wages, heaps of false promises, a total lack of support, and con artists running straight-up scams. It was a minefield. Andrew saw an opportunity to do things differently.
He set out to create a safer, more pleasant, and more enjoyable way for globally-minded grads to explore the world.
TravelGrad was born.
TravelGrad has grown quite a bit since 2013, but our core mission remains the same: to provide a soft landing for our applicants, enabling them to make a success of their overseas adventure from day one.
To date, we’ve supported over a thousand grads get their journeys off the ground.
And we’ve developed a heap of support services to make the whole thing as easy and reassuring as possible.
